Bridgid earned her Master's degree in
Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan. In 2001, she became an APTA
Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She has eight years of
experience treating disorders such as male and female pelvic pain,
incontinence, and other complex musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Bridgid is the
Midwest Regional Representative of the APTA's Section on Women's Health. She
has received training through Michigan State's College of Osteopathic Medicine
as well as numerous other continuing education courses in myofascial release,
visceral manipulation, and biofeedback therapy for pelvic floor dysfunction.
While working at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, she was awarded the
Taylor Fellowship to develop physical therapy services for pelvic floor
dysfunction. In September 2000, Bridgid opened Lakeview Physical Therapy,
P.C., a practice dedicated to providing highly skilled, personal one-on-one
manual therapy.
